Pracheen Kala Samity is one of the cultural bodies in the State of West Bengal in India. In the year 1993 Pracheen Kala Samity was founded by Shri Tinkari Ghosh Alias Tinu Ghosh, a musician and inventor of a new musical instrument "Tantar", patent holder of Govt. of India and who is a disciple of Pandit Robin Ghosh (renowned violinist in India and disciple of Ustad Alauddin Khan).
After its registration under Societies Regn. Act XXVI of 1961 Pracheen Kala Samity embarked upon the task of Training, Examination, Performance, Publishing books etc. for upliftment and spread of art and culture all over the country. A cultural body like Pracheen Kala Samity, having its Regd. Office in a Sub-Divisional town is rare.
